Our Policies

We do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. If you make a donation, register for an event or register for the Transition Times, for example, we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information.

The personal information you provide is solely utilized to process and receipt your donation, to register your attendance at an event or meeting, or to respond to any information requests you may have. Donor anonymity will be respected if requested and where applicable.

If you provide us with personal information, we may enter that information into our constituent database and contact you in order to:

  • Complete voluntary surveys seeking feedback for quality and service improvement purposes.
  • Supply you with information, including Center for Community Transitions news, events and services.
  • Request voluntary time or monetary contributions to The Center for Community Transitions.

The Center for Community Transitions strives to keep donors informed about how donations are used and their importance for continuing our programs. We send several mailings a year to accomplish this and include a donation remittance envelope to invite financial support. Most Center for Community Transitions supporters want to receive all of our mailings and newsletters. However, you may opt out of any and all mailings by contacting us with your request.
